Welcome to the first online TI:ME newsletter! In order to bring TI:ME members more up-to-the-minute news and information on music education and technology, the ti:mes will be posted bi-monthly at the TI:ME web site. The premiere issue of the online newsletter will be available to all who visit the site. However, future issues will be a member-only benefit and will be password protected. JUST A QUICK REMINDER... The Second National Conference of the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME), to be held January 31 - February 3, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio, will provide an unmatched four-day music technology event. Held in conjunction with the Ohio Music Education Association's State Conference, this promises to be a unique experience for K-Collegiate music educators, technology specialists, and administrators. Continuous technology activities throughout the conference will feature keynote speeches by Bob Moog, Bill & Lynn Purse, and Peter Webster; performances by analog and digital ensembles; sessions on all types of music software and hardware; hands-on multimedia and internet applications, and manufacturer showcases.
