General Information on Upcoming Conferences

TI:ME is pleased to announce its most extensive schedule of music technology conferences to date. Within a nine-month period, TI:ME will present its sixth and seventh annual National Conferences and four Regional Conferences. These exciting and important music technology events will be presented in Asia and across the United States, extending the rich heritage established by the past six years of TI:ME conferences.

As always, the TI:ME conferences will bring together the nation’s most outstanding music technology educators with leading music software developers, MIDI hardware manufacturers, and music technology merchants to present outstanding music technology conferences designed with the music curriculum in mind. TI:ME conferences cater to all levels of teacher comfort, from beginner to intermediate to advanced, and to all types of music technology applications (see PROPOSAL CATEGORIES below).

National Conferences include an intensive all-technology experience and generally offer 100 or more sessions.

TI:ME sessions are open to all music educators and interested musicians and consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions. Opportunities abound to discuss music technology strategies and techniques with local and regional experts, as well as nationally recognized educators such as Tom Rudolph, David Mash, Dennis Mauricio, Floyd Richmond, Steven Estrella, and Dave Peters; with outstanding corporate representatives such as Lee Whitmore, Tom Johnson, Larry Marchese, Julie Romeo, and representatives from Fender, Yamaha, eMedia, Technics, ECS, plus many others; and with outstanding guest speakers, such as Bob Moog and Dave Smith.

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these extraordinary conferences whether you are new to TI:ME or a seasoned music technology veteran. We work AROUND THE CLOCK for you!

MULTIPLE PROPOSALS

The multiplicity of exciting presentation opportunities listed above lead to potential challenges for the TI:ME organization. To begin with, the proposal submission and notification deadlines must be compressed into a short two-month period, as shown in the table above. But more importantly, TI:ME must protect its well-established reputation of quality and dependability. The conference chairs are counting on TI:ME’s talented presenters to submit proposals only to the events to which they can commit to appear. It is important that you not submit to multiple events and then cancel those which you cannot attend. With that being said, we welcome your proposal submissions by the deadline dates in the above table.
