Berkleemusic and TI:ME Announce Online Music Scholarship Winner
Berkleemusic, the Continuing Education Division of Berkee College of Music, and the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME) have awarded London educator Bill Noce with the first-ever Berkleemusic/TI:ME Online Music Scholarship. The scholarship consists of a 3-course Specialist Certificate Program of Bill's choice in the areas of Music Production, Guitar, Songwriting, Arranging, Theory, Harmony & Ear Training, or Music Business.
Mr. Noce, a TI:ME Member since 2002 and a music teacher at ACS Cobham International School in the UK, is a firm believer of the benefits of technology in the music classroom. "TI:ME has been invaluable in providing a standard of good practice in the use of technology in music education," says Bill. "The TI:ME publications, advocacy papers, tips and myriad strands of advice and recommendations have kept me going in the right direction. It would otherwise be so easy to lose one's way in the massive and ever-growing field of technology and music education."
"Berkleemusic has been a long-time supporter of TI:ME and their mission of applying technology to improve teaching and learning in music," adds Debbie Cavalier, Dean of Continuing Education at Berklee College of Music. "With Berkleemusic's online courses, music educators can study all aspects of music production and technology with Berklee faculty, as well as renowned TI:ME educators such as Tom Rudolph, from anywhere in the world."
Berkleemusic's summer term begins on July 2nd. For more information on Berkleemusic's online music courses and certificate programs, visit http://www.berkleemusic.com
