For a number of years, TI:ME has relied on PayPal for processing online membership payments. We know it is convenient for many members. We also realize some of you have created an automatic payment option for your membership renewal through PayPal
None of this has changed. You can still use PayPal to renew your dues.
However, we are now encouraging members to use our new credit card processing system. Why? Frankly, the processing and transaction fees are lower, which helps both you and TI:ME. You can pay your dues with no fees and without having to sign up for PayPal. And TI:ME receives a more favorable transaction fee, while having all payments deposited directly into our bank account. It lowers our expenses - plain and simple.
The Board knows you expect them to use your dues dollars wisely. This is one way to honor that trust.
